Well, I am still waiting to find out what happened with the Ford Sync Contest entry. They were supposed to notify the winners yesterday but they have not notified me yet. So, either I did not win anything, or they are like most video contests and are just running behind schedule.
While I wait, I will be mentally prepping myself for our final night of Bowling. Last week we were sneaking up on the First Place team, and hopefully were able to overtake them but we will not know until we show up. Tonight will be the biggest night for our Team this year. I will let you all know how it goes. I bowled on Sunday and rolled a 232, 217, 207 and 178.
T
hat’s right, you heard it correct. Our team, which consists of Michael Dennis, Kevin Rudis and myself were crowned champions in an amazing comeback victory on Thursday 06/19/2008. For those of you who do not know how the league scoring system goes, it is based on a point system. You get 4 points per night, 3 of which can be achieved by winning all three games you play that night. The fourth point is for the team that has the highest pin-fall for the evening.

When we arrived and saw that we were 3 points down against a really tough team and we were not feeling very confident about our chances of winning. Being down by 3 points, means, we have to win all 3 games, and get the fourth point for total pin-fall. So, the battle begins. Read More to hear the full story.
Our trophies aren't much to look at, but they were fun to get. Ya, Ya.. get a nice little laugh in. My daughter Lexis joked that her micro-soccer trophies were bigger and at first sight, she thought our trophies were little maraca's. Last night we had fun in our final night of the season where we played no-tap bowling and ate pizza. Michael, Kevin and Myself won the series against the other team. No Surprise there. :)
We all had our 200+ games because of No-Tap, and I achieved my first 300 game ever on the second game. I am really proud of Michael and Kevin in how much they have improved this last season. They were a key in the drive to the final playoff game and really came through when I needed them. As far as last nights games, on the first game, I got a 286, which is all strikes until the final frame, where I choked on the last strike. So, overall it was a very fun night, and we are doing it one more time this summer. IMPORTANT!!!! We are recruiting for a fourth player starting on July 10th. It is only $10/wk and you get a free $70 ball, so if anyone is interested, please let me know.
UPDATE: 06/27/2008 6:47 PM
We have recruited our 4th player for the team. It will be filled by Brian Lukrich. Welcome to the team, and we look forward to bowling with you..
